Meet Buck! He is Peaches' first baby, born this morning sometime when I should have been awake! When I got to the barn it appeared that Buck hadn't been born for more than 30 minutes. I called Farmer Ron right away and got a little goat advice, gave Peaches a bucket of warm honey water and continued to snap photos. Mr. H climbed into the ring to get involved for a while before heading off to work -- unfortunately he had to leave the barn party for a few hours. I think I should go get little party hats and a birthday cake!
